# Record quote payment

Records the server-derived accepted total as a manual payment, or supplies the SAT payment form for an already confirmed online payment. It then asynchronously creates the receipt and requested invoice.

## Request

`POST /v1/quotes/{documentRef}/payments`

- **Authorization:** Required permission: `quotes:manage`.

- **Environments:** Production and sandbox

- **Idempotency:** Required
