# Save contact

Create or update one customer/supplier. Use get_contacts to obtain contactId for updates. Credit fields apply only to customers.

Tool: `save_contact`

## Purpose

Create or update a customer or supplier.

### Use when

A contact record must be added or changed.

### Do not use when

You need to remove a contact or only read contact data.
